Coach Redman Spotlight
​
The purpose of this story was to spotlight the outstanding work of our MHS track coach, Thayer Redman. Our goal was to show how Coach Redman is able to connect with the athletes on a personal level in order to get the best out of them. In this story, I wrote the majority of the script, got b roll, and recorded the interviews.

Sol De Borinquen Bakery
​
This story was about a bakery on Main St that started a food/supplies drive to help the people of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria struck. My partner and I worked together to record b-roll and interviews, write the script, and edit. Also, I was the reporter for this story.

This story was about an open mic night that was being held in Manchester, where young poets, singers, rappers, etc. could share their work. My role was to write the script, report, and record B-roll in addition to helping with editing.

The MHS drama club produced a musical called, "And A Child Shall Lead", and this story highlighted the work that went into it. I reported, held write the script, and recorded b-roll and interviews

Hockey Team
​
After a terrible season last year, Manchester's co-op hockey team git off to a hot start this year, so my partner and I made a story highlighting this significant turn around and the reasons behind it. I helped with editing, wrote the script, recorded the b-roll, and reported for this story.

Cafeteria Staff Spotlight
This story was made to recognize all of the hard work that the MHS lunch ladies do that goes unnoticed. My partner and I used this story as I way to both recognize their work and encourage others to be more appreciative of them. For this story, I edited, wrote the script, and helped record b-roll/interviews.

Baseball Pink Out Game

This story was about this year's annual Pink Out baseball game against East Catholic. It focuses on the excitement of the game and how it is important for raising awareness for cancer. I wrote the script, edited, and helped to record b-roll/interviews.

Yanny vs Laurel
After a viral video clip sparked a national debate over whether the clip says, "Laurel" or "Yanny", my partner and I created this story to see where MHS students stood in the debate. Also, we found out the answer as to what the clip actually says. I wrote the script, edited, and recorded the interviews/b-roll.

Mr. Navarra Spotlight
​
Mr. Navarra is a psychology teacher and wrestling coach at MHS, and is a very well liked member of the Manchester community. This story highlights everything that makes him such a great teacher/coach, and shows how he is able to balance between the two. In this story I edited, recorded b-roll, and helped to write the script.

MHS Girl's Soccer Team Senior Night
​
This story highlights the girl's soccer team's senior night game. However, the purpose of the story was not just to highlight the game, but to show what senior night means to the players. Also, this story shows how MHS makes the game special by using it as an opportunity to raise awareness for breast cancer. In this story, my role was to write the script, record the b-roll, assist with getting interviews, and help to edit it.

Athletic Ring Season

As the fall sports season at MHS came to a close, the boys and girls soccer teams both were able to qualify for the state tournament. This story illustrates the hard work it took for both teams to reach the tournament, and shows how special this opportunity was for the players. My role in this story was to work on the script, record b-roll/interviews and help edit.

Genealogy Roadshow
​
This story recapped and described the Genealogy Roadshow. This event was held in Manchester's Town Hall and allowed citizens to trace their genetic heritage and explore their family tree. I was the reporter in this story, and I also wrote the script and recorded the b-roll/interviews.

Mrs. Tracy Birthday Video
​
This video was made to honor Mrs. Tracy as she celebrated her 90th birthday in March. Mrs. Tracy is beloved by many teachers and students around the school, and this birthday tribute gave them an opportunity to express their appreciation for her and wish her a happy birthday. In this story, I recorded the b-roll and assisted with a couple of interviews, as well as recording the voice overs for the video.

Murder Mystery Dinner

This story recapped the murder mystery dinner, and how the entire event was made possible through the hard work and planning of the Junior Class Board. For this story, I was the reporter, and I recorded all of the b-roll at the event. Also, I assisted with recording interviews and editing.

Connor O'Neill Spotlight​
​
Connor O'Neill is a standout actor and singer in the MHS drama club, and the purpose of this story was to highlight his tremendous work in MHS' spring play: Godspell. Also, we used this tory to show the positive effect that Connor has on his peers. My role in this story was to assist in writing the script, and getting interviews/b-roll.

The month of April is Autism Awareness month, so in honor of that, we created this story. The purpose of this story was to raise awareness for autism as well as informing people about what exactly it is. In this story I was responsible for helping to write the script and record interviews.

Lauren Packer Spotlight
​
This story spotlights the athletic achievements of Lauren Packer, a student at MHS who excels at softball. Lauren was able to play for the Ireland National team in the 2016 World Softball Championships, which is just one of her many accolades that are highlighted in this story. In this story I wrote most of the script, as well as recording the interviews and helping to edit.

This project is a MHS Vs East Catholic Baseball recap that I worked on with a partner. First we recorded the game, then put together highlights using our footage. We then recorded voiceovers that recapped the game.

For this project, I created a podcast that recapped the Steelers vs Broncos NFL game in December. To go along with the podcast, I made a scoreboard graphic with an animated background for visual effect.
